📸 What’s a Snapshot — and Why It Matters for You
At Matchain, we’re preparing for an important milestone: our upcoming snapshot on June 14th. If you’re new to snapshots or just wondering what it means for you, here’s everything you need to know:
🧠What Is a Snapshot?
A snapshot is exactly what it sounds like — a picture of blockchain activity taken at a specific point in time. It captures all user interactions, on-chain actions, and wallet activity up until that moment. Think of it as a freeze-frame that tells us who did what.
🎯 Why It’s Important:
This snapshot will serve as the foundation for our upcoming airdrop. All the activity you’ve made on Matchain will be taken into account — whether you’ve been testing dApps, verifying your MatchID, staking, or interacting with our ecosystem in other ways.
🧩 You Can Still Make the Difference
The snapshot hasn’t been taken yet. So if you’ve been on the sidelines or thinking about diving deeper into the Matchain ecosystem — now’s the time. Every meaningful action you take before the snapshot could boost your airdrop eligibility.
✅ Airdrop requirements
To participate in the airdrop, you need to meet the following main criteria: Â
1. Reach at least level 1 on MatchID. Â
2. Hold at least $1 worth of BNB on Matchain or USDT on Matchain in your wallet. Â
3. Connect a wallet that has completed a bridge or on-chain transaction. Don’t forget to connect the wallet you used to collect NFTs and play MatchQuest to MatchID.
