May 2026 — In August 2025, Matchain unveiled a roadmap to evolve $MAT from a tradable asset into infrastructure people rely on every day. We called it the participation layer.
Today, we're publishing the next chapter.
The H2 2026 roadmap extends what we built — Phases 5, 6, and 7 — and lays out what comes next as the participation layer matures into something larger: the sovereignty layer.

What we delivered in H1 2026
Before announcing what's next, here's what the foundation now looks like.
The participation layer is operating at scale. More than 1.9 million consolidated identities are active today, supported by 32 million wallets and 1 billion on-chain transactions completed to date. Around 3.3 million transactions move through the network every day.
What that means in practice:
- $MAT has been in full circulation since June 19, 2025, listed across 11+ exchanges including Binance Alpha, Kraken, BloFin, KuCoin, and Bitget. The Genesis airdrop completed on schedule.
- MatchID v1 and MatchAI (built with DataCurve) are live. MatchQuest runs on native MatchID login. MatchHub is live as our cross-chain platform.
- MatchRWA Brazil moved 200M BRL of Brazilian real estate on-chain — the rails work for institutions, not just consumers.
- Joint Innovation Studio is shipping. PlayerID is live as a unified identity and performance layer for athletes. The VIP Silver Card ties fan membership to verified identity.
- MatchID for Fans delivered verified, ticketless entries at sports events for the first time at scale.
- The Binary Holdings partnership brought distribution to 169 million telco users through OneWave.
- JIS Cohort 1 is in build and on track.
The participation layer works. Now we extend it.
Phase 5: The Distribution Layer — Q3 2026
Phase 5 is about getting Matchain to where the volume, the builders, and the daily users actually are.
$MAT migrates to Base — the highest-velocity L2 in the market, with Coinbase-aligned discoverability. This is the liquidity unlock the network has been engineered for.
Native Matchain DEX launches. Combined with the existing Native integration for in-app swaps, this gives every project building on Matchain a deep, on-chain trading layer.
MatchVibe goes public. This is one of the most important launches in this roadmap. MatchVibe is Matchain's vibe-coding platform — describe what you want to build in plain language, and ship a working on-chain product in minutes. Every project built on MatchVibe deploys with MatchID and full $MAT integration automatically. We're powering MatchVibe with Noah, the same engine that already runs on Solana — and we can confirm that Noah AI itself runs on MatchID under the hood. The identity layer is no longer just a Matchain product. It's becoming the standard for verifying the humans behind every wallet.
Verified Agent Network enters beta — verified identities for autonomous agents, with on-chain reputation and defined authorization scope. This is the trust layer the agentic web has been missing.
Network Trust Layer is revealed — a new safety primitive built to keep the system honest at scale.
On-chain Prediction Layer opens in beta — full prediction market primitives for builders.
On the distribution side, this phase formalizes two new divisions: Matchain Fan Engagement and Matchain Music & Entertainment — taking the model proven with PSG and expanding it into adjacent verticals.
JIS expands to a second club. The M² Card ships globally, supported by Matchain. The Player ID + Fan ID consumer app launches.
Unified Rewards Network (URN) v1 goes live — the cross-brand loyalty backbone underneath every Matchain venture, with the first launch merchants live in the network.
Phase 6: The Sovereignty Layer — Q4 2026
Phase 6 introduces a new primitive — and it is the most important engine we'll ship in this entire roadmap.
The Sovereign Data Engine. Own your data. Earn from it.
Every MatchID holder will be able to control, license, and monetize their data directly — no harvesting, no middlemen, no surveillance economy. Every data sale settles in $MAT. This is the answer to a question Web2 never wanted asked: if your data is generating value, why aren't you receiving it?
This isn't a product. It's a new economic relationship between people and the platforms they use.

Verified Agent Network moves from beta to scale.
Network Trust Layer goes live in production — keeping the network safe as it grows.
Matchain Studios opens — content, IP, and creator infrastructure operating on top of the identity layer.
On-chain Prediction Layer reaches full release.
RWA Tokenization Platform opens publicly — the same rails that moved 200M BRL of Brazilian real estate become available to any qualifying asset.
The Bitcoin-inspired halving milestone reduces mining emissions — long-term scarcity becomes structural.
Phase 7: Compound & Global — 2027+
Phase 7 is where MatchID stops being a crypto product and becomes infrastructure for entire industries.
MatchID for Hospitality. Verified identity for guest experiences, loyalty, and access.
MatchID for Gambling & Gaming. Self-sovereign identity across licensed operators.
MatchID for Healthcare. Pilot rollouts where credentials and consent need to be on-chain and patient-owned.
Cross-chain identity attestations connect Matchain to the rest of the ecosystem. Multi-sport JIS expansion, Asia and LATAM regional activations, and the broader brand ecosystem reach the kind of scale we always engineered the rails to handle.
What $MAT becomes
Across H2 2026, $MAT moves from a token you hold to fuel you use across every part of the network:
- Identity — every MatchID activation and every verified agent runs through $MAT
- Data — every Sovereign Data Engine transaction settles in $MAT
- Agents — every verified agent action accrues a fee in $MAT
- Trust — Network Trust Layer attestations and staking
- Rewards — URN merchant spend events mint loyalty convertible to $MAT
- Cards — every M² Card transaction touches the $MAT staking-cashback loop
- Liquidity — Base migration and Native DEX make $MAT trade where the volume lives
- Real assets — every property tokenized through the RWA platform routes through $MAT
- Predictions — every market created and every position taken on the Prediction Layer consumes $MAT
- Builds — every project shipped on MatchVibe deploys with $MAT integration
The token isn't separate from the network anymore. The network is the token's utility.
Building the foundation for what's next
What we promised in August 2025 was a participation layer where $MAT works across fintech apps, live events, digital identity, and DeFi.
What we're promising now is the next layer underneath that: a system where the people using the network own the data they generate, control the agents acting for them, and earn from the value they create.
